Leben Goes to Sleep Against Rosholt 08/31/2009 Chris Leben fell victim to an arm triangle choke in the third round of his fight against Jake Rosholt at UFC 102 on Saturday night. It was a close fight throughout but Rosholt gained the advantage with a quick takedown in the final round and locked in a tight choke that put Leben to sleep before he could tap. Leben Quiets His Critics with Brutal KO! 09/19/2007 Chris “The Crippler” Leben did not disappoint Wednesday night as he scored a “Rocky” like knockout with just over a minute left in the fight. Leben came into this fight with two consecutive losses and took on the challenge of Terry Martin who was undefeated in the middleweight division and finished his last two opponents in under a minute and half. Both fighters went back and forth in the first two rounds. In the third it was clear that Martin had the advantage as he picked up the pace and was out striking Leben who looked at times as if he was going to get knocked out. Martin a little over confident at this point landed a huge right hand and dropped his hands taunting his opponent. In Crippler like fashion Leben threw his patented left hook that sent Martin crashing to the canvas at 3:56 mark of the third round. Leben Comesback with Big KO! 08/18/2006 “The Crippler” Chris Leben was not gun shy in his return after a loss. He came out firing on all cylinders and took the fight to his opponent Jorge Santiago at UFC “Fight Night” live from the Red Rock Casino in Las Vegas. Santiago came out aggressive in the first round and traded with Leben early on. In the second round Santiago once again came in looking to trade but would run into a power left that sent him crashing to the canvas at 0:35 of the 2nd round. Leben was ecstatic about the win and exclaimed in his post fight interview that he did not want to sit around on the losing side of things!


Leben wastes no time! 07/15/2006 Chris “The Crippler” Leben is coming off the biggest loss of his career but is not going to spend much time dwelling on it. Instead he will returning to action on August 17th at UFN 6 in Las Vegas. Leben will face the dangerous striker Jorge Santiago from American Top Team. Leben Wins, Burkman tastes Defeat! 04/07/2006 t was a bittersweet night on Thursday as Chris Leben chalked up another victory and Josh Burkman was upset. Leben won a decision against UFC newcomer Luigi Fioravanti. Leben dominated all three rounds and clearly controlled the action throughout the fight. Burkman was upset by a very game Jon Fitch from the American Kickboxing Academy. Fitch excuted from early on and shocked Burkman in the second. Burkman see this as a learning experience and will be back bigger and better.

Leben, Burkman, and Guillard excel at UFN 3! 01/17/2006 It was a great night for the three fighters which each made a statement in their own way. Leben wasted no time taking out Jorge Rivera with crushing blows at 1:44 in the first round. Burkman once again wiped out the competition as he submitted Drew Fickett at 1:07 of the first round. Both Leben and Burkman looked impressive and moved one step closer to title contention. Guillard maintained his explosive style and showed everyone why he is so dangerous even in defeat. Guillard lost the fight due to a triangle choke but devastated his opponent and left him with one of the nastiest cuts in UFC history. Guillard may have not won the fight but took home “Fighter of the Night” honors and will fight again very soon.


Leben back on Spike! 12/17/2005 Chris “The Crippler” Leben is back on Spike as he takes on Jorge “El Conquistador” Rivera.
